Hello, everybody, this is Shirley Henderson from Sherwork.com in today episode of Sher’s podcast it is The Art of Letting Go by Shirley Henderson featuring Alex Becker alright guys let’s get started.
A few days back Alex Baker CEO and founder of HYROS said that he decided to embrace the lifestyle of minimalism, as you guys know it is a lifestyle that requires the minimum possessions and he let go of all his possessions. An entrepreneur he reached success because he had the big house the nice car and he let go of all these things and right now in his new apartment he has a desk and his bed. So, everybody is jumping and everybody’s making a big commotion, everybody is surprised they don’t know how to take it, they think what are you doing? This is not what supposed to be normal for an entrepreneur. Let me tell you, I think that in any other community that I belong to, the entrepreneur should be the one that should not be surprised by a huge difference in lifestyle. Altho it should be required to achieve the success and discipline that he put himself into and I applaud his courage for announcing it, for everybody to know. Just like I did it. This is why I am making this podcast because I remember when I finish my master’s degree and I supposed to continue in that direction and I said, no. I want to have a Blog I want to continue doing my art and I love singing and I just want to spend all my time singing with my karaoke friends and it’s not very understanding on the eyes of everybody else and I think that from all the communities the entrepreneur community is the more isolated and less understood. For example, if you are in a restaurant and two girls are talking about their boyfriends and one said so what does your boyfriend do for a living? She replay, my boyfriend, is an entrepreneur so the girlfriend is going to say, so he doesn’t have a job! Like that. It is not well seen right now because the financial and education road map is not prepared for the entrepreneur so when we see something like that everybody jump saying, why are you doing? We suppose to have the Lamborghini. we supposed to have the big house, if you’re not doing that, you are wrong and no, it should not be like that. We need to allow Alex Becker to be his own explorer of his life, just like I did when I deleted 99 Chart and I think it was like the huge decision in my life because I didn’t know how long the decentralized Marketplace what’s going to be ready for me to start exploring. So even when right now it is completed the decentralized marketplace and it looks like the end, for me it is the beginning and as an entrepreneur, we are encountering always new beginnings it is always a starting point meeting an end, always starting and it’s always ending and that is the hardest part of being an entrepreneur and not everybody likes that. It is not for everybody I don’t recommend it because I know it is not for everybody you need to have really a very strong mindset and must have mastered The Art of Letting Go.
You’re going to let go of people that don’t support you that’s the hardest, you might be alone a lot that’s the hardest, you might not party a lot and that’s the hardest 1000 things more and the only true reward is for yourself, all the things that you so much wanted and that’s why they put us on a selfish pedestal of the interpreters and I want to say Alex Becker You Are Not Alone, please feel understood and you are not the only one that is going through huge changes and you are right when taking your life into your own hands especially your finances, focus on everything that you do and I think it is amazing. That’s why I wrote on your Instagram “I’m happy for you” because I have been through that and it is a very lonely place and you should not feel alone you should feel supported by all the entrepreneur community. I feel better, it feels good to support you because I am helping myself. That’s what always happens and I want to say thank you for being so open and so transparent like you took us on a tour of your apartment on YouTube when you didn’t have to, but you did it, like me. I didn’t have to say it either that I was going to delete my 99chart.com my online store to go in the adventure to help out with the decentralized Marketplace but we make decisions that are good for our lives and you’re making a decision that is good for your life and that’s all that matters, Okay so I hope that this message help more people that are going thru a similar situation like me and Alex Becker. Hace unos días, Alex Baker dijo que decidió abrazar el estilo de vida del minimalismo, como ustedes saben, es un estilo de vida que requiere las posesiones mínimas y dejó todas sus posesiones. Un empresario que alcanzó el éxito porque tenía la casa grande con el lindo auto y dejó ir todas estas cosas y ahora mismo en su nuevo departamento tiene un escritorio y su cama. Entonces, todos están saltando y todos están haciendo una gran conmoción, todos están sorprendidos de que no sepan cómo hacerlo, ¿piensan qué estás haciendo? Esto no es lo que se supone que es normal para un empresario. Déjame decirte que creo que en cualquier otra comunidad a la que pertenezca, el emprendedor debería ser el que no debería sorprenderse por una gran diferencia en el estilo de vida. Aunque debería ser necesario para lograr el éxito y la disciplina en la que se puso y aplaudo su coraje por anunciarlo, para que todos lo sepan. Justo como lo hice. Es por eso que estoy haciendo este podcast porque recuerdo cuando terminé mi maestría y supuse que debía continuar en esa dirección y dije que no. Quiero tener un blog Quiero seguir haciendo mi arte y me encanta cantar y solo quiero pasar todo mi tiempo cantando con mis amigos de karaoke y no es muy comprensivo para los demás y creo que desde todas las comunidades La comunidad emprendedora es la más aislada y menos entendida. Por ejemplo, si estás en un restaurante y dos chicas hablan de sus novios y una dice: ¿a qué se dedica tu novio? Ella repite, mi novio, es un emprendedor, así que la novia lo dirá, ¡así que él no tiene trabajo! Como eso. No se ve bien en este momento porque la hoja de ruta financiera y educativa no está preparada para el emprendedor, así que cuando vemos algo así, todos saltan diciendo: ¿por qué lo estás haciendo? Suponemos tener el Lamborghini. se supone que tenemos la casa grande, si no estás haciendo eso, estás equivocado y no, no debería ser así. Vas a dejar ir a las personas que no te apoyan, eso es lo más difícil, puedes estar solo mucho, lo más difícil, es posible que no festejes mucho y que sean las 1000 cosas más difíciles, y la única recompensa verdadera es para ti , todas las cosas que tanto deseabas y por eso nos pusieron en un pedestal egoísta de los intérpretes y quiero decir Alex Becker No estás solo, por favor, siéntete entendido y no eres el único que está pasando por grandes cambios y tiene razón cuando toma su vida en sus propias manos, especialmente en sus finanzas, concéntrese en todo lo que hace y creo que es increíble. Es por eso que escribí en tu Instagram “Estoy feliz por ti” porque he pasado por eso y es un lugar muy solitario y no debes sentirte solo, debes sentirte respaldado por toda la comunidad emprendedora. Me siento mejor, se siente bien apoyarte porque me estoy ayudando a mí mismo. Eso es lo que siempre sucede y quiero agradecerles por ser tan abiertos y transparentes como si nos hiciera un recorrido por su apartamento en YouTube cuando no tenía que hacerlo, pero lo hizo, como yo.
